Group Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily financial operations for our French and international sectors.

• Collaborate closely with the finance team and report directly to the CFO.

• Supervise the generation of monthly consolidated reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Oversee all accounting functions for the group, encompassing billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, revenue recognition, group consolidation, and intercompany transactions.

• Coordinate the auditors' activities and serve as the main point of contact.

• Assist with due diligence, refinancing, or exit strategies as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8+ years of pertinent experience.

• Strong technical foundation in accounting and controls through audit, transaction services, or comparable industry experience.

• Experience in a similar role within a multi-entity group, leveraged buyout (LBO), or SaaS setting.

• Proficient in both French and English.

• Keen interest in automation and modern financial tools utilizing AI.

• Ability to work independently in a high-growth environment, balancing both strategic and hands-on tasks.

• Extensive understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and compliance standards.

• Previous experience with ERP implementation (such as Netsuite, Sage100, etc.) is advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for collaboration across teams.
