📋 Description

• Oversee Anovaeon’s daily accounting functions, which include bookkeeping, managing the general ledger, coordinating payroll, invoicing, and preparing financial reports.

• Ensure adherence to federal financial regulations, assist in budgeting and audit preparations, and work closely with HR, operations, and leadership to guarantee accurate and timely financial information across projects.

• Act as Anovaeon’s senior accounting authority, managing the complete accounting cycle from transaction entry to monthly closing and reporting.

• Establish and uphold internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures as the company grows.

• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, cash flow oversight, and financial strategy.

• Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems (Sage Intacct preferred).

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and financial discrepancies.

• Prepare client invoices and track payment collections.

• Produce monthly financial reports for leadership review and support in budget monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience (such as senior accountant, accounting manager, or similar roles).

• Strong grasp of general accounting principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency with accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred but not mandatory).

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to work effectively across various departments.

• Capacity to manage sensitive financial information confidentially.
