Group Consolidation Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assisting in the prompt and precise preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in adherence to US GAAP.

• Preparing and maintaining various schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosures.

• Preparing reconciliations and journal entries for the elimination of intercompany activities, including areas such as equity method accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.

• Reviewing the standalone financial statements of consolidated subsidiaries to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and ensure accurate disclosures in the Company's financial statements.

• Working extensively with the company’s ERP system by creating tailored reports to facilitate efficient data analysis and reconciliations.

• Offering suggestions and support for process enhancements and efficiencies.

• Assisting the corporate accounting team during the month-end close.

• Supporting external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information for audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA or equivalent international certification is advantageous).

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including expertise in consolidations and U.S. GAAP reporting.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in intercompany eliminations.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) alongside advanced Excel and analytical skills.

• Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of explaining complex accounting concepts clearly.

• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to analyze large datasets, and accuracy are essential in this role.

• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Ability to perform job duties with minimal daily supervision.
