Group Air Agent – Fixed Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage reservations for meeting and group travel in accordance with the guidelines specified for each group movement.

• Respond to inbound calls and/or emails from clients organizing travel for meeting and group events.

• Establish reservations that align with the needs of callers and the specific travel requirements for meetings or groups.

• Strive to find the lowest possible fare using the GDS or block space options.

• Adhere to company protocols, guidelines, and standards for customer service, building PNRs and profiles, ticketing, front room CRS productivity, attendance, accuracy of work, and invoicing.

• Keep the direct supervisor updated on significant issues.

• Execute tasks as needed or requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a travel agency.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in group or meeting travel.

• Proven knowledge and experience in the travel industry.

• Proficiency in Sabre Diplomacy.

• Polite and professional telephone etiquette.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Consistent and reliable attendance along with punctuality.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.

• Ability to share best practices and insights with colleagues and management.

• Capacity to assist peers in making decisions.

• Awareness of when to escalate issues to a supervisor.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, tailored to the audience.

• Strong skills in conflict resolution.
