Grill Team Member, Cook

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative of the Dairy Queen brand, demonstrating professionalism in all performance aspects.

• Warmly greet and welcome fans to the Dairy Queen experience.

• Aim to surpass fan expectations by delivering service that prioritizes fan satisfaction through prompt and quality assistance.

• Efficiently and accurately prepare food items in accordance with restaurant, health, and safety standards.

• Safely operate and maintain restaurant equipment, including grills, fryers, freezers, and other cooking tools.

• Complete designated preparation tasks to stock and set up the grill area.

• Effectively address fan concerns while adhering to Dairy Queen’s service recovery protocols.

• Collaborate as a team player, fostering a cooperative and harmonious relationship with management and colleagues.

• Create and uphold a positive, safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both fans and team members.

• Consistently demonstrate a genuine passion for excellence.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Maintain positive communication with fans and coworkers throughout shifts.

• Thrive in high-pressure situations while keeping a positive attitude.

• Comfortable standing for the duration of the shift and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to manage raw, frozen, and cooked food products, including those within the temperature danger zone (41-140°F).

• Adhere to established food handling practices and comply with local health regulations.

• Display good manners, maintain proper personal hygiene, and be punctual.
