GridOS Technical Lead – Power System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) and Delivery Manager (DM) on scope management, scheduling, risk assessment, and quality assurance.

• Lead the technical delivery of the project based on your domain expertise.

• Implement software, tune power applications, troubleshoot issues, customize solutions, and integrate them into client systems.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the organization.

• Coordinate across different teams and provide independent mentorship to the project team.

• Assist the Delivery Manager (DM) in establishing control over Project Execution.

• Utilize and implement tools and metrics for measuring software delivery performance.

• Design, deploy, configure, tune, and test GEV transmission and distribution solutions for client environments.

• Work closely with the Service Engineering development lead to ensure that custom deliverables meet specified needs and standards.

• Address all client inquiries, bugs, and product suggestions for ongoing projects and file tickets for the Product or project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

• Over 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong analytical skills, including expertise in requirements elicitation and management.

• Familiarity with emerging trends in the energy industry and their implications for utility clients.

• Experience with operating systems such as MS-Windows Server and Red Hat Linux.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, microservices, and data storage solutions like Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Kibana, Grafana, and Kafka.

• Programming experience in software development using Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse, C#, and C++.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.).

• Experience with project testing methodologies including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
