Grants Compliance & Monitoring Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate activities of clients and sub-recipients, including program expenditures, financial statements, and program activity narratives.

• Analyze the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance alignment of programs with federal regulations.

• Conduct analytical tasks as requested by clients and respond to inquiries from sub-recipients.

• Develop templates, forms, tools, presentations, webinars, FAQs, and tailored training programs.

• Design and deliver training sessions and presentations for both internal and external audiences, including government entities and sub-recipients.

• Research, analyze, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of program requirements, policies, regulations, laws, and guidance.

• Prepare management- and client-level reports, memorandums, letters, and other documents.

• Offer recommendations on best practices and keep stakeholders updated.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in public administration, accounting, finance, public policy, political science, or a related field.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in federal grant programs, such as FEMA, US Treasury, HUD, or other federal grant initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).

• Knowledge of federal grant award regulations and laws.

• Experience and knowledge in program monitoring.

• Ability to review and analyze program documentation for compliance adherence.

• Capability to develop recommendations for corrective actions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe.
