This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Oversee daily compliance activities related to government programs for both federal and state funding initiatives and grants.
• Enhance program execution and compliance standards by optimizing filing processes and reporting mechanisms.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal program management, providing guidance to teams regarding program regulations.
• Review and document the compliance requirements for grants and programs, including applications, agreements, and relevant regulations.
• Conduct assessments of account and project billing/invoicing.
• Prepare reimbursement submissions along with necessary documentation and address inquiries from government entities.
• Stay informed about telecommunications service offerings, service areas, targeted customer demographics, ETC and ILEC regions, and funding programs.
• Monitor program requirements and deadlines while providing regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Lead the collection of documentation for federal program audits.
• Manage compliance goals related to broadband network expansion, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Analyze data and create comprehensive Excel reports featuring pivot tables and lookups.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s Degree.
• Background in federal USF program compliance within the telecommunications sector, including High Cost, E-Rate, RHC, or Lifeline, as well as broadband grant programs and their requirements.
• Experience collaborating with diverse functional teams including legal, accounting, engineering, and construction.
• Familiarity with legal documents and the ability to interpret laws and regulations.
• Proven track record in preparing and presenting executive summaries for review and approval.
• Demonstrated ability to set and adhere to schedules and deadlines.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience in managing E-Rate compliance for a service provider.
• Capability to analyze data and produce advanced Excel reports utilizing pivot tables and lookups.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central Time zones.
