This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, account executives, and proposal team members and partners to address requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotes (RFQs), requests for information (RFIs), presentations, and various written corporate materials.
• Guides the creation of high-quality responses that incorporate competitive and persuasive win themes along with technical strategies.
• Supports the entire opportunity journey from lead generation to submission, participating in the qualification process at each stage and gate review.
• Proactively leads the proposal team during the response period by planning, organizing, and analyzing requirements.
• Develops a comprehensive proposal plan, which includes compliance checklists, response outlines, templates, and schedules.
• Conducts kick-off meetings and regular status updates, along with solution and win theme discussions.
• Manages the collection of questions for submission.
• Oversees and collaborates with the proposal team to draft response sections, taking responsibility for creating content, including past performance and corporate qualifications.
• Coordinates and works with team members to assist in writing sections, ensuring timelines are met and facilitating productive and timely review cycles.
• Leads proposal status review meetings.
• Organizes and conducts color reviews, ensuring participation from reviewers and integrating feedback into recovery documents.
• Ensures a unified voice in language, editing, and conducting quality and compliance checks across all volumes prior to final production.
• Maintains the proposal schedule and manages version control.
• Oversees graphics and production tasks.
• Guarantees the timely delivery of a fully compliant and compelling response.
• Keeps proposal documentation organized in the online corporate repository.
• Manages multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Performs other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated successful experience in managing, writing, and coordinating federal government proposals, with a total of 8 years of professional experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal government contract proposal efforts, including RFP documentation, the procurement process, proposal preparation, evaluation, and compliance.
• Must possess strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in writing proposal sections, which includes researching and synthesizing information from various sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals, publicly available materials) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product.
• Experience working with proposal teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that supports critical business development activities.
• Proven proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, initiative, and self-motivation to identify and complete tasks.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours if necessary to ensure the timely completion of proposal activities.
