Golang Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development and upkeep of high-performance backend services and applications utilizing Golang.

• Design, implement, and enhance microservices-based applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

• Work alongside the DevOps team to deploy and manage Golang applications within Kubernetes clusters, employing Helm for effective package management.

• Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions, particularly with Postgres, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.

• Develop and refine the billing system to guarantee accurate and prompt processing of financial transactions.

• Perform code reviews to uphold code quality, best practices, and compliance with coding standards.

• Collaborate within a cross-functional team, including DevOps, Backend and Frontend developers, QA, and product management, to comprehend requirements and deliver top-notch software solutions.

• Maintain thorough documentation for code, architecture, and processes to support knowledge transfer and onboarding of team members.

• Ensure appropriate unit test coverage for applications and contribute to keeping the autotest suite current.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Golang developer, with a solid history of delivering scalable and robust solutions.

• Proficient in Golang, with a thorough understanding of its concurrency model, frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.

• Skilled in designing and optimizing databases, especially with Postgres.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to think critically about complex technical issues.

• Prior experience in developing and maintaining billing systems.

• Familiarity with AWS services.

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
