This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide strategic direction and therapeutic expertise across Worldwide's primary focus areas, including Oncology, Rare Disease, Cardio Metabolic, and Neuroscience.
• Collaborate closely with business development, marketing, and operational teams to create innovative clinical and commercial strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, playing a vital role in proposal development, client presentations, and study award activities.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of Therapeutic Strategy Leads through coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and therapeutic knowledge.
• Evaluate market trends, growth opportunities, competitive landscapes, and emerging therapeutic modalities.
• Initiate thought leadership efforts, including participation in conferences, webinars, publications, and customer-facing materials.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), consultants, and industry stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively across various teams to ensure effective clinical trial strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; an advanced degree (Master's, PhD, MD) is preferred.
• Over 15 years of global clinical research experience, including clinical trial execution and/or drug development.
• Proven success in leading complex clinical development programs and achieving strategic business results.
• Strong grasp of clinical trial execution, GCP/ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical research, therapeutic areas, and the biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make well-informed decisions and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Commercial insight with experience in supporting business development, customer engagement, and growth initiatives.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in global, cross-functional, and matrix environments.
• Strong business, financial, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with technology, research tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Capability to mentor, develop, and influence teams while adapting to changing business needs.
