Global Vendor Master Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and uphold vendor master data within SAP, ensuring it is precise and accurate.

• Assess incoming requests and conduct integrity checks to guarantee data quality and compliance.

• Examine supporting documentation to ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards.

• Act as a reliable contact for inquiries related to vendor master data and facilitate issue resolution.

• Discover opportunities for enhancing efficiency, standardization, and data accuracy.

• Conduct data quality audits and assist in data cleansing efforts, which include eliminating duplicates and optimizing records.

• Investigate root causes of data quality issues and support the implementation of preventative measures.

• Keep accurate tax and banking documentation with appropriate validation and storage practices.

• Assist with internal and external audit processes.

• Engage in special projects, such as onboarding new vendors and managing the reactivation of existing vendors.

• Work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Vendor Master Data, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Database Management, or comparable fields.

• Exceptional attention to detail alongside strong organizational abilities.

• Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

• Advanced skills in Excel and spreadsheet management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
