Global Supply Chain Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in driving essential initiatives within procurement, logistics, inventory management, and operations.

• Evaluate supply chain data, including spending, inventory levels, freight costs, and supplier performance.

• Create dashboards and reports utilizing Excel or Business Intelligence tools.

• Recognize trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost reduction.

• Aid in supplier research and benchmarking activities.

• Facilitate RFQ/RFP processes, including data gathering, bid evaluation, and comparisons.

• Help monitor contract adherence and supplier performance metrics.

• Assist in analyzing freight and logistics factors such as costs, service standards, and carrier performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer software, supply chain management, business, or a related field.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with or exposure to Power BI.

• Knowledge of project management principles.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Programming abilities.
