This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the team's dedication to the Responsible Care® Product Safety Code.
• Offer product stewardship expertise to the team and guide management on regulatory adherence.
• Ensure that the products developed and manufactured are safe, compliant, risk-managed, and reliable.
• Create and implement innovative methods to evaluate the safety and sustainability of products utilizing recycled raw materials.
• Act as the product stewardship subject matter expert, advising management on the implementation, execution, and delivery of new product development and commercialization.
• Provide PS&R consultation for new product applications, market development opportunities, and supply chain matters.
• Oversee product risk characterization and review processes.
• Acquire relevant product documentation and uphold certification under Responsible Care® by adhering to the Product Safety Codes of Practice.
• Create and review product literature and messaging, delivering guidance on product safety, stewardship, and sustainability for both external and internal communications.
• Assist with the product stewardship and regulatory compliance requirements for Kevlar® products.
• BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in the PS&R field.
• Prior experience in providing PS&R compliance support and product certifications, with the capability to analyze environmental impacts.
• Understanding of risk management: ability to apply established PS&R guidelines; adapt them to new scenarios (from theoretical to practical use); or develop new PS&R frameworks, standardized processes, and tools for execution.
• Proficiency in aggregating and synthesizing extensive data from global cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to learn and become proficient in multiple markets and technologies simultaneously.
• Customer-focused, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, along with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven track record of fulfilling commitments, with the flexibility to readjust priorities as needed.
