This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of federal civilian agency accounts.
• Develop and implement an annual territory and account strategy to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CISOs, and influencers within federal civilian agencies.
• Lead and enhance collaborations with VARs focused on civilian sectors, GSA schedule participants, and system integrators.
• Utilize consultative sales techniques to shape agency requirements and direct acquisition strategies.
• Spearhead the creation of proposals and pricing strategies for federal procurements related to civilian agencies.
• Craft persuasive responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs across GSA schedules and government-wide acquisition vehicles.
• Assist in product demonstrations and technical discussions with stakeholders from agencies.
• Active Public Trust or Secret clearance is required; TS clearance is preferred.
• Willingness to travel (less than 50%).
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales within the federal civilian market.
• In-depth understanding of procurement processes for civilian agencies, including GSA MAS schedules, BPAs, BOAs, and GWACs.
• An established network of relationships throughout various civilian federal agencies.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP authorization processes and FISMA compliance requirements.
• Technical proficiency in cybersecurity, data protection, and IT solutions.
• Familiarity with ICAM/IdAM frameworks, such as PKI, RBAC, and ABAC in federal civilian contexts.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, ATO processes, and civilian federal compliance frameworks.
• Comprehensive understanding of SaaS software sales within the federal market.
• Proven track record as a deal hunter and strong closer.
• Organized and structured; capable of prioritizing tasks and accurate forecasting.
• Excellent presentation abilities, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
