Global Performance Marketing Manager

Posted Jul 18

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and expand user acquisition through key paid channels, primarily focusing on paid social, while also managing affiliate networks and mobile partnerships.

• Spearhead the paid social strategy and its implementation across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant social platforms, being fully accountable for new Monthly Active User (MAU) growth, efficiency, and overall performance.

• Delve into platform tactics: comprehend how Meta's algorithm, auction dynamics, audience signals, and ad formats interact; recognize how TikTok's creative and targeting differ from Meta; and stay ahead of emerging formats, placements, and optimization levers across all managed platforms.

• Oversee the paid social creative strategy from start to finish: identify winning angles, define hooks, shape scripts and storyboards, guide User-Generated Content (UGC) briefs, review edits, and determine which concepts to test, iterate, or scale.

• Serve as the in-house paid social creative lead, possessing a profound understanding of compelling hooks, native short-form video, problem/solution narratives, social proof, offer messaging, localizations, and clear calls to action.

• Develop and manage creative testing frameworks across various audiences, hooks, formats, messaging, localization, creators, and channels, employing structured hypotheses, test designs, thorough learning documentation, and rapid iteration cycles.

• Collaborate closely with UGC creators, agencies, and internal teams to transform customer insights, corridor needs, product benefits, and competitor signals into acquisition assets that capture attention and drive conversions.

• Support the strategy for affiliate networks and mobile partners: identify new partners, evaluate traffic quality, negotiate commercial models, initiate tests, monitor performance, and scale partners that yield high-quality new MAU.

• Build and nurture relationships with affiliate networks, mobile ad networks, app partners, publishers, comparison sites, influencer affiliates, and performance partners, ensuring traffic quality, compliance, and commercial discipline.

• Identify, test, and expand new acquisition opportunities across paid social, affiliate channels, mobile partners, influencer/creator-led performance, and emerging platforms.

• Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including new MAU, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), activation rate, Lifetime Value (LTV), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CVR), Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), retention, payback, partner-level ROI, and traffic quality.

• Analyze performance data to pinpoint clear optimization actions, partner opportunities, channel possibilities, and budget trade-offs.

• Manage budget planning, pacing, forecasting, and performance reporting for primary paid social and affiliate channels.

• Collaborate closely with Analytics, Product, CRM, Brand, Compliance, and Regional teams to enhance tracking, attribution, onboarding, activation, and full-funnel performance.

• Support corridor-level growth by tailoring paid social and affiliate strategies to local market conditions, customer behavior, partner availability, and regional opportunities.

• Provide clear and actionable updates to leadership regarding paid social performance, affiliate partner outcomes, traffic quality, insights, risks, and growth prospects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, or growth marketing, preferably within a mobile-first consumer business.

• A true paid social specialist: extensive, hands-on experience in scaling campaigns on Meta and/or TikTok, including creative testing, account structure, bidding, audience architecture, placements, and optimization.

• In-depth knowledge of platforms — you understand the intricacies of each social platform, what creative and targeting strategies succeed on each, and how to adjust tactics as platforms evolve.

• Proven track record in increasing new users, active users, or MAU through quantifiable paid social acquisition efforts.

• Strong experience in paid social creative strategy: ability to craft briefs, hooks, scripts, storyboards, UGC concepts, provide editing feedback, and develop rigorous testing plans.

• Comprehensive understanding of the elements that make paid social creative effective — compelling hooks, native short-form video, problem/solution narratives, social proof, offer messaging, localization, and clear calls to action.

• Comfortable evaluating creative performance, making decisive choices about what to discontinue, iterate, re-brief, localize, or scale.

• Some experience with affiliate networks, mobile partners, publisher relationships, commercial models, or performance-based partnerships — sufficient to manage this channel with support.

• Solid understanding of mobile app funnels, onboarding processes, activation, attribution, and conversion optimization.

• Familiarity with attribution and analytics tools such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Firebase, GA4, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL or BI tool experience is a plus.

• Capability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, global environment — you set the direction and execute the tasks.

• A genuine ownership mentality: you treat the channel's performance as your own, strive for improvement, and proactively optimize without waiting for direction.

• Comfortable collaborating across functions with Product, Analytics, CRM, Brand, Compliance, and Regional teams.

• Effective communicator who can translate data, creative results, and campaign insights into actionable decisions.
