Global Finance & Compliance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee global tax compliance encompassing GST, TDS, corporate tax, VAT, and cross-border obligations.

• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to guarantee precise and timely submissions.

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, which include financial reporting and regulatory submissions.

• Maintain documentation for transfer pricing concerning intercompany transactions across various entities.

• Supervise payroll processes while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).

• Prepare and manage financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

• Own the month-end and year-end closing processes, which involve reconciliations and MIS reporting.

• Establish and implement internal financial controls, approval workflows, and expense policies.

• Manage accounts payable, vendor invoicing, and intercompany billing procedures.

• Assist with due diligence, audits, and fundraising efforts by providing accurate financial data.

• Handle routine compliance, legal coordination, and finance-related administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience.

• Extensive experience in global tax compliance, including GST, TDS, US corporate tax, and EU VAT.

• Previous exposure to managing compliance for international or multi-entity organizations.

• Practical experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.

• Capability to work independently and proactively manage compliance timelines.

• Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.

• Experience in startup environments or high-growth organizations is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
