Global Electrical Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the electrical reference designs utilized across all Volta initiatives.

• Oversee the implementation of standard designs for each project and manage any deviations with rigor.

• Ensure the project's electrical design encompasses utility intake, MV distribution, and extends to the rack.

• Evaluate consultant and contractor electrical deliverables against established fleet standards.

• Assist in power architecture decisions for high-density NVIDIA Vera installations.

• Collaborate with procurement on specifications for long-lead electrical equipment.

• Incorporate commissioning and operational insights back into the reference designs.

• Mentor project design leads on electrical standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in data center electrical design is a must.

• Extensive knowledge of MV and LV distribution, standby generation, and UPS systems.

• Proven track record in governing design standards across various projects or a fleet.

• Experience in reviewing and validating consultant and contractor design work.

• Understanding of the power requirements for high-density computing.

• Ability to work across European and US projects and time zones with ease.
