This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, administer, and enhance global base salary, bonus, and incentive compensation programs.
• Assess compensation programs for competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Create and uphold global compensation policies, guidelines, and governance practices.
• Oversee and maintain the global job architecture and leveling framework.
• Manage compensation survey providers and perform market pricing analyses across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
• Provide support for compensation recommendations related to new hires, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes.
• Conduct internal equity analyses and propose fair and competitive pay practices.
• Lead the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, bonus funding, incentive payouts, and LTIP administration.
• Develop compensation budgets and assist with executive compensation planning.
• Ensure the accurate execution of compensation cycles through planning, reporting, and governance.
• Create compensation models for workforce planning, restructuring, and financial forecasting.
• Analyze compensation data, market trends, and workforce metrics to offer strategic recommendations.
• Prepare reports for executives, conduct compensation analyses, and create materials for the Board.
• Ensure compliance with pay equity and pay transparency legislation in various global jurisdictions.
• Develop compensation policies, documentation, and guidance for managers.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Finance to ensure compensation governance and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain the integrity of compensation data within BambooHR and other related HR reporting tools.
• Work alongside Payroll, Finance, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and executive leadership.
• Assist with HR technology enhancements related to compensation planning, reporting, and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary administration, and incentive compensation.
• Experience managing compensation programs across various countries and currencies.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including compensation modeling and complex data analysis.
• Familiarity with compensation benchmarking survey providers such as Radford, Mercer, or Willis Towers Watson.
• Strong knowledge of compensation governance, pay equity, and pay transparency legislation in Canada, the United States, and other global jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to explain complex compensation concepts to both leaders and employees.
• Ability to manage confidential compensation information with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience supporting a global, matrixed, or post-merger organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with BambooHR or other HRIS platforms that support compensation administration is preferred.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is preferred.
• Experience assisting with executive and Board-level compensation reporting and governance.
