This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gathering and analyzing information from clients to determine, suggest, and guide the implementation of solutions aimed at enhancing a client's processes, services, and overall efficiency.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, along with a strong focus on detail.

• Provide support to clients, GIS operations, and applications.

• Review, analyze, and assess business systems and user requirements.

• Document business and user needs, clarifying scope and objectives.

• Consult with, advise, and record recommendations for client management regarding procedures, policies, issues, priorities, and methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients and project teams utilizing various communication strategies.

• Assist technical staff in ensuring adherence to and completion of tasks necessary for successful project outcomes.

• Identify and define the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to outline project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.

• Apply PMI and PMBOK standards in project management tasks.

• Update and maintain project schedules while evaluating progress to support technical staff and ensure that milestones and deliverables meet client expectations.

• Develop process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and/or the project team.

• Prepare operational documentation and methodologies for projects.

• Coordinate efforts with contractors and subcontractors.

• Assist clients with data modeling and system planning.

• Generate status reports as required by clients or other directives.

• Support business development efforts through the sales and proposal response processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of five years of experience in consulting or project management.

• Advanced proficiency in GIS software and geospatial applications (e.g., Esri, Smallworld, etc.).

• Knowledge of data modeling concepts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Preferred certifications (e.g., PMP, GISCI, etc.).

• Experience: Consulting or project management: Five years (Required).

• GIS software experience (e.g., Esri, Smallworld, etc.): Five years (Required).

• Understanding of data modeling: Five years (Required).
