This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for GIS and Esri Toolsets, including but not limited to ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, ArcGIS Living Atlas, ArcGIS Urban, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Developer Account, and Experience Builder.
• Lead product modifications while considering our technology stack and the Esri framework to create optimal solutions that are compatible with various Esri tools and scalable as we expand.
• Ensure alignment of Avolve functionality with Esri's go-to-market strategy and licensing to enhance co-selling opportunities.
• Supervise our Esri-compatible Feature Service and other Esri-focused derivative solutions.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of customer experiences, anticipate customer use cases, identify product gaps, and generate innovative ideas that enhance market share, improve customer satisfaction, and stimulate growth.
• Act as the voice of the customer, conveying their needs and workflows to the Product and Engineering teams.
• Develop expertise in our client use cases while gaining a thorough understanding of all spatial datasets, including how our project data integrates with GIS applications, with a focus on spatial analysis utilizing multiple relevant datasets at the parcel level.
• Collaborate with the Director of Product and the sales team to uncover more product and solution opportunities with our Esri partners.
• Convert product strategies into detailed technical specifications and prototypes.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quick time-to-market and efficient resource utilization.
• Collaborate with support teams on client issues related to relevant products, providing QA/QC and problem-solving assistance with technical teams.
• Drive product launches by coordinating with external partners, executives, Engineering, and other members of the product management team.
• Act as a product champion to foster awareness and understanding of the product.
• Represent the company by gathering customer and partner feedback on products and services.
• Cultivate internal and external buy-in for the product vision among key stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
• A minimum of 6-8 years of hands-on technical experience utilizing Esri tools.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, ArcGIS Living Atlas, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Developer account, and their associated widgets.
• 1-3 years of experience in product management or project management.
• Familiarity with Esri licensing requirements and best practices in go-to-market strategies.
• Capability to work with various feature services and spatial datasets, importing them into ArcGIS, executing spatial joins, analyses, and geoprocessing workflows within the Esri environment.
• Comfortable handling large datasets and conducting file-based GIS analyses.
• Ability to act as a liaison between sales and technical teams regarding their respective products.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and ad hoc tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across cross-functional teams.
