GIS Developer, Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, improvement, and upkeep of enterprise geospatial applications within a federal context.

• Responsible for creating web-based GIS applications, dashboards, APIs, and geospatial services that allow users to access, visualize, analyze, and manage geospatial data across the organization.

• Collaborate closely with architects, GIS analysts, data teams, and stakeholders to devise innovative geospatial solutions that meet both operational and strategic mission needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in developing GIS applications or geospatial software solutions.

• Experience in creating web applications, APIs, workflows, or dashboards.

• Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, or other Esri technologies.

• Proficient in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.

• Experience in supporting geospatial data management and GIS workflows.

• Capable of troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

• Understanding of web services, APIs, and application integration principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
