This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Provide virtual patient care in accordance with Oshi's evidence-based care model, which includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for gastrointestinal conditions, particularly focusing on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD through video consultations and chat messaging.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team consisting of GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators to execute coordinated and comprehensive care plans.
• Follow clinical protocols including ROME IV criteria and AGA and ACG guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Accurately and promptly document patient interactions within the EHR, maintaining comprehensive and compliant records.
• Dedicate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative tasks.
• This position is not a conventional 9-5 role; scheduling will involve a combination of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to accommodate patient access needs. Flexibility and a willingness to work outside of standard business hours are crucial.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, clinical program development, and ongoing professional training to remain current in the field of gastrointestinal care.
• Seek cross-licensure opportunities and ensure good standing with all relevant licenses and certifications.
• Active licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Current certification by ANCC, AANP, or another qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• At least 3 years of experience in the gastroenterology specialty within an outpatient setting.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychologists, and registered dietitians.
