This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Effectively communicate with professional clients to ensure the coordination of complex cases and accurately convey abnormal or intricate results.
• Conduct thorough reviews of test orders and laboratory reports to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Facilitate the management of complex cases across various internal teams and external clients.
• Serve as a liaison between professional clients and laboratory teams.
• Provide education and support to professional trainees, including students in genetic counseling.
• Participate in the development of new tests, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate on professional manuscripts and presentations related to the field of genetics.
• Education: A Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical or laboratory genetics is preferred.
• Certification: Must be board certified or board eligible in Genetic Counseling by ABMG or ABGC.
