General Radiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Remotely interpret a substantial volume of diagnostic studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and various other modalities.

• Provide timely, precise, and well-documented reports to referring clinicians across diverse locations.

• Relay critical and time-sensitive findings directly to providers through phone or secure messaging systems.

• Collaborate virtually with technologists and support staff to ensure adherence to protocols and uphold image quality.

• Utilize advanced PACS, RIS, and cloud-based teleradiology systems for case management and review.

• Engage in quality assurance, peer reviews, and virtual team meetings.

• Keep licensure and compliance documentation current for multiple states as required.

• Follow all HIPAA and data security standards while operating in a remote setting.

• Contribute to a consistent workflow without the necessity for weekend or evening shifts.

• Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence among geographically dispersed teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency program.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).

• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in relevant practice states (multi-state licensure is preferred).

• Previous experience in teleradiology or remote work is favored but not mandatory.

• Proficient in remote diagnostic tools, PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

• Outstanding time management and organizational abilities in a virtual working environment.

• Strong written communication skills to generate clear and concise reports.

• Understanding of HIPAA and teleradiology-specific data privacy regulations.

• Comfortable managing high-volume caseloads while maintaining quality standards.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Technically adept enough to troubleshoot basic remote workstation issues.

• Familiar with ACR guidelines, structured reporting, and clinical decision support tools.
