This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive strategy, performance, and expansion of a key FSP customer account.
• Set operational priorities and long-term account objectives that align with customer requirements and Parexel's business ambitions.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with high-level customer stakeholders, including executive and C-suite leaders.
• Facilitate governance meetings and executive business reviews to ensure alignment, transparency, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the customer following contract award, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of customer pipelines, development programs, market trends, and strategic priorities.
• Provide executive oversight across all functions that deliver services within the FSP account.
• Guarantee that projects and programs are completed on schedule, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Drive resource planning, workforce allocation, and operational efficiency throughout the account.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess delivery, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement that enhance efficiency, minimize risk, and strengthen delivery results.
• Take responsibility for the financial performance of the account, including revenue goals, profitability and margin targets, budget planning, cost management, resource utilization, and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with program and functional leaders to identify and implement margin enhancement opportunities.
• Monitor account performance and deliver strategic recommendations based on financial and operational data.
• Ensure effective management of customer contracts and commercial commitments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior leaders, managers, and functional experts.
• Foster a high-performing culture emphasizing quality, accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
• Ensure effective succession planning and the development of future leaders.
• Drive performance management, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to identify and implement training strategies.
• Recruit, retain, and nurture top talent within the organization.
• Identify opportunities to broaden services and enhance strategic partnerships within existing customer accounts.
• Partner with Commercial Account Leads and Solution Consultants to formulate and execute account growth strategies.
• Lead repeat business initiatives and assist in proposal development, RFP responses, and bid defense meetings.
• Represent Parexel in customer interactions, industry forums, conferences, and business development efforts.
• Provide subject matter expertise during sales pursuits and strategic account discussions.
• Advocate for operational improvements, process optimization, and change management initiatives.
• Contribute to the formulation of corporate and departmental strategies.
• Promote best practices, compliance, and organizational effectiveness across the business.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Extensive leadership experience in:
• Clinical research organizations (CROs)
• Pharmaceutical companies
• Biotechnology companies
• Functional service provider (FSP) settings
• Other healthcare research organizations
• Proven success in leading large, matrixed, and geographically diverse teams.
• Experience in managing strategic customer relationships at senior and executive levels.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, and resource allocation.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance operational performance across complex portfolios, programs, or business units.
• Experience in supporting business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
• Robust analytical, negotiation, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) preferred.
