General Accountant, Netsuite Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate financial statements, ensuring both accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes, which include account reconciliation and the preparation of financial reports.

• Assess financial data to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, guaranteeing timely and precise invoicing and payment processing.

• Reconcile and oversee customer and vendor accounts to maintain precise records.

• Update and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented.

• Conduct regular reconciliations of ledger accounts to ensure consistency and precision.

• Leverage NetSuite for comprehensive financial management, encompassing transaction processing, reporting, and account maintenance.

• Integrate HubSpot with financial systems to enhance data flow and improve financial tracking.

• Utilize Excel to generate complex reports, conduct data analysis, and manage extensive datasets.

• Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring both accuracy and prompt delivery.

• Monitor the status of invoices and follow up on overdue payments as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a General Accountant or in a comparable role, with significant expertise in NetSuite, HubSpot, and Excel.

• Proficient in accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statement preparation and analysis, month-end and year-end closing, and general ledger management.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other data analysis tools.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
