General Accountant – Automotive, Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare and assess financial statements in accordance with local (Italian) GAAP as well as US GAAP.

• Ensure the timely and precise reporting of financial outcomes while adhering to accounting standards.

• Carry out reconciliations of accounting records, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany accounts.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies to guarantee accurate and prompt reconciliation of accounts.

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Supervise month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Leverage specialized knowledge of industrial accounting practices to manage costs, inventory, and production accounting.

• Generate cost analysis reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Apply expertise in automotive industry accounting to manage sector-specific financial processes and reporting.

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.

• Conduct financial analysis and offer insights to facilitate business decision-making.

• Prepare and deliver financial reports to management.

• Collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

• Effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA or an equivalent professional certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting, with a strong emphasis on industrial and automotive accounting.

• In-depth knowledge of local (Italian) GAAP and US GAAP.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
