GCP Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Act as a driving force for organizational agility, steering cross-functional teams through the Agile transformation process.

• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for distributed teams.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and mindset.

• Eliminate impediments and blockers that impede team productivity.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage sprint backlogs and ensure effective prioritization.

• Track team velocity, burndown charts, and assess performance metrics.

• Identify and relay risks, dependencies, and escalation issues to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification.

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proven expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.

• Proficient with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with the capability to influence without direct authority.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both written and verbal).

• Demonstrated experience working with nearshore or distributed teams across various time zones.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience in identifying and resolving team conflicts and organizational challenges.

• Familiarity with Agile transformation initiatives and change management processes.

• Preferred: Advanced Agile certifications (SAFe, PSM II, or equivalent) or a background in software development and technology-driven organizations.
