This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and enhance GCP-based infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automation patterns for Google Cloud deployment.
• Create and uphold scalable CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other similar platforms.
• Administer and refine GCP delivery workflows, encompassing Cloud Build triggers, Artifact Registry, source integrations, deployment approvals, and service account access patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance build, release, and deployment workflows for microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Implement observability with the Google Cloud Operations Suite, including Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and related telemetry tools.
• Integrate secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and least-privilege access controls.
• Oversee and optimize containerized environments utilizing Kubernetes, Helm, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Promote reliability engineering practices including incident response, root cause analysis, SLO thinking, and automated remediation.
• Standardize reusable templates, modules, and platform patterns to enhance developer productivity and consistency.
• Mentor engineers and offer technical guidance on GCP architecture, deployment automation, release governance, and DevSecOps practices.
• Lead infrastructure and CI/CD modernization efforts to boost reliability, security, developer experience, and operational excellence.
• Extensive experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering roles that support modern software delivery.
• Profound hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, covering compute, networking, IAM, storage, monitoring, and security services.
• Significant experience with GCP-native or integrated CI/CD pipeline design for various application stacks and deployment methodologies.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Deployment Manager alternatives, or similar automation frameworks.
• Skilled in containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, preferably with experience in GKE.
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable languages.
• Strong understanding of source control workflows, package management, artifact promotion, and release strategies.
• Experience in implementing observability, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for production systems.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, compliance controls, and secure software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, or software supply chain security tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud environments and migration patterns from AWS or on-premises platforms is advantageous.
• Exposure to policy-as-code, platform engineering, developer portals, or internal developer platform concepts is beneficial.
• Experience in supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments with stringent governance requirements is a plus.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the capacity to influence technical direction across teams.
