This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Lead and guide the data engineering team towards successful project delivery and technical excellence.

• Design and execute scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines leveraging GCP.

• Construct and enhance data lakes and data warehouses utilizing BigQuery.

• Develop solutions for both batch and real-time data processing.

• Collaborate effectively with architects, business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams.

• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.

• Assist in the implementation of CI/CD and adopt DevOps best practices.

• Offer technical insights during project planning and estimation.

• Profound hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficiency in BigQuery, Git, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud Functions, and Looker.

• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Looker.

• Significant experience with BigQuery and SQL.

• Strong comprehension of data modeling and data warehousing principles.

• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.

• Awareness of Airflow and DevOps methodologies.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing client communications.

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

• Ability to oversee delivery timelines and manage technical risks.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline.

• 7–8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or large-scale software development.
