This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead extensive AWS-to-GCP cloud transformation projects.
• Enhance data platforms, ETL pipelines, and analytics frameworks.
• Create scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.
• Develop integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Generate technical design documentation and engage in architecture reviews (ARB).
• Evaluate technical debt, streamline cloud costs, and optimize performance.
• Implement Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Enforce cloud governance, data security, audit logging, exception handling, compliance frameworks, and cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps, Engineering, PMO, and business stakeholders.
• Present architecture options, technical recommendations, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to leadership and technical teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in the field.
• Strong practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with BigQuery, AlloyDB, Dataplex, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, networking, and cloud security.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.
• Experience with integration patterns, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
• Background in solution architecture, technical design documentation, architecture reviews (ARB), technical debt assessment, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment automation, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, data security, audit logging, exception handling, compliance frameworks, and cloud best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers, Business Analysts, DevOps teams, Engineering teams, PMO, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in presenting architecture options, technical recommendations, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
• General availability to support offshore and onsite teams.
• Preference for candidates located on the East Coast.
