Fundraising Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lebanon.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overall fundraising efforts, encompassing community fundraising, grants/trusts, and the development of additional vital income sources such as major donors, regular contributions, and corporate partnerships.

• Maintain a strategic perspective on the fundraising requirements of the NAW Association and play a crucial role in communications and marketing initiatives.

• Enhance the availability of funding channels to empower the NAW Association in achieving its goals and expanding opportunities for both new and ongoing projects.

• Research, engage, and reach out to potential supporters/donors, while nurturing and strengthening relationships with current contributors.

• Create and refine a strategic plan to direct fundraising efforts.

• Oversee, support, and innovate fundraising initiatives.

• Assist in writing bids for grant/trust submissions.

• Prepare and present findings to interested stakeholders.

• Expand and enhance corporate partnerships.

• Develop and manage online fundraising efforts, including but not limited to social media campaigns.

• Regularly update and manage the fundraising and communications budgets.

• Compile and present fundraising reports.

• Maintain accurate fundraising records, databases, and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal reporting standards in accordance with Lebanese laws in collaboration with the legal department.

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of office administration and procedures.

• Basic knowledge of business principles.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in English, French, and Arabic.

• Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
