Fundraising Consultant – RFP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform a thorough assessment of CPJ’s current and historical fundraising achievements across all revenue channels.

• Develop a multi-year fundraising strategy that incorporates specific, data-driven tactics for various types of funders.

• Provide guidance on how CPJ’s development team, partnerships, and resources can be optimally aligned to facilitate the next phase of fundraising expansion.

• Create a targeted list of potential new funders from foundations, corporations, and individual donors who resonate with CPJ’s mission.

• Present a comprehensive written report and an oral presentation to senior management and the Development Committee.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience collaborating with organizations in the fields of human rights, civil liberties, or media development.

• Proficiency in major and principal gift fundraising, along with expertise in developing individual donor pipelines.

• Background in various fundraising revenue streams, including foundations, individual contributions, and corporate partnerships.

• Established capability to enhance fundraising capacity that endures beyond the engagement, including training for staff and board members.

• Ability to present measurable examples of enhanced fundraising capacity and revenue for previous clients.

• Three professional references from clients for whom similar services have been provided.
