Fundraising Consultant

📋 Description

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising within nonprofit organizations, rare diseases, healthcare, medical research, patient advocacy, or other mission-driven entities.

• Proven track record of securing funding from individuals, major donors, corporations, foundations, grantmakers, or governmental organizations.

• Experience in managing crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, or digital fundraising initiatives through platforms like GoFundMe or similar services.

• Strong proficiency in grant research, proposal writing, donor communications, relationship management, and delivering presentations.

• Capable of translating complex medical or scientific concepts into clear, credible, and persuasive messaging for donors.

• Resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset in garnering support for a specialized cause with a small global patient demographic.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that encompasses individual giving, major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, sponsorships, and crowdfunding efforts.

• Identify, cultivate, and engage potential donors, foundations, corporations, government funding entities, and strategic partners.

• Create compelling fundraising narratives, cases for support, proposals, presentations, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.

• Plan and oversee digital fundraising campaigns utilizing GoFundMe or similar platforms, alongside email, social media, and other online channels.

• Establish donor stewardship programs that enhance relationships, promote recurring contributions, and boost retention rates.

• Set fundraising goals, timelines, budgets, reporting protocols, and performance indicators.
