This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Coordinating the intake, submission, and follow-up for new product, repair, and equipment rental orders.
• Maintaining communication with SLPs regarding funding cases.
• Collaborating with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to facilitate order placements.
• Monitoring funding authorization cases to ensure timely resolution of requests.
• Utilizing online resources to confirm eligibility.
• Reviewing prior authorization documentation.
• Investigating previous orders and payment history/DSOs.
• Inputting and completing orders within the order management system.
• Acting as a client advocate.
• Addressing third-party denials.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or 2 – 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the health insurance sector is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• A customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in internet navigation.
• Competency in MS Office Word and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Capacity to work at a desk for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to the Pittsburgh office for team activities/trainings approximately four times per year.
