Fund Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the accounting and reporting of designated funds of funds.

• Documenting all accounting transactions and ensuring they align with the investment database.

• Compiling quarterly financial statements.

• Generating monthly roll-forward values and various specialized reports.

• Providing work-paper support for year-end audits of funds of funds.

• Evaluating and interpreting quarterly financial statements from investment partnerships.

• Analyzing transactions within investment partnership accounts.

• Identifying and evaluating activities related to capital accounts for alternative investment vehicles utilized by investment partnerships.

• Entering capital account data into the investment database.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• A minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.

• Familiarity with accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.

• Willingness to work overtime during peak quarterly periods.
