Functional Business Analyst, QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Understand business needs and analyze functional requirements.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.

• Collaborate closely with development teams by providing context and clarity regarding requirements.

• Actively participate in the functional definition of new solutions and enhancements.

• Design, plan, and execute functional tests and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.

• Ensure that developed solutions meet the defined requirements.

• Identify, document, and track incidents and defects.

• Create functional documentation and test documentation.

• Develop user manuals and training materials.

• Conduct training sessions on products and functionalities.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis, validation, and quality processes.

• Report progress and results to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, QA Analyst, or in similar roles.

• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and solution validation.

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).

• Familiarity with process modeling and workflow definition.

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.

• User-level knowledge of SQL.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business profiles.

• Fluency in Spanish and English.

• Experience with testing and quality management tools such as XRay, TestRail, BrowserStack, or similar.

• Experience in API testing using Postman or SoapUI.

• Knowledge of test automation with Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development environments.

• Previous experience in technology companies, HealthTech, or digital product environments.
