Fullstack Engineer, AWS, CDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full responsibility for services from development through operation to monitoring

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and CDK

• Optimize and expand a Java-based backend

• Implement domain functions using TypeScript

• Design and develop interfaces based on OpenAPI

• Advance existing architectures, resolve bugs, and operate products reliably

• Support new product directions in real estate financing, including AI and full-stack topics

• Implement automated end-to-end testing

• Work with CI/CD via GitHub Actions and monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk

• Assist with frontend tasks using Angular when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in backend development with Java and TypeScript

• Familiarity with distributed system architectures

• Experience in building and managing cloud infrastructure with AWS, preferably using CDK

• Accountability for the development, operation, and monitoring of own services

• Test-driven development and clean code practices

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Creativity and adaptability in a developing environment

• Self-organization, ownership, and drive

• Versatile skills with a clear backend focus and willingness to support cloud infrastructure, APIs, and frontend tasks

• AI product development experience or targeted AI training is a plus
