Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold product features across the complete stack, which includes FastAPI services, PostgreSQL schemas, and Next.js App Router applications.

• Take full ownership of authentication and authorization processes from start to finish, encompassing Auth0 integrations, RBAC policies, and OIDC/JWT implementations.

• Oversee and sustain AWS infrastructure, comprising EC2, RDS, ALB, IAM policies, and CloudWatch monitoring.

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, featuring branch-based deployments and Docker build workflows.

• Engage in architecture discussions and contribute to the technical decision-making process.

• Perform code reviews with a focus on correctness, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues that span backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers.

• Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver features swiftly and iteratively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining production-grade Python APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.

• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and relational database management.

• Experience in creating modern React applications with TypeScript and Next.js App Router.

• Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, IAM, ALB, and CloudWatch.

• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization principles, including Auth0, OIDC, JWT, and RBAC.

• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and workflows using GitHub Actions.

• Capability to work autonomously, take charge of features, and make informed technical decisions with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable functioning in a dynamic startup environment with changing priorities and swift iteration.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
