Fullstack Developer, Python/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and build APIs, services, and microservices using Python with Flask/FastAPI to efficiently orchestrate and deliver data in a secure and observable way.

• Ensure our cloud offerings on GCP are both scalable and adaptable, keeping pace with the technological needs of GB.

• Enhance the interface of our internal products utilizing React, focusing on creating an intuitive and high-performance user experience.

• Develop and manage automated workflows through Airflow (Composer) for the automation and oversight of data processes.

• Collaborate across teams, advocating for component reuse and establishing patterns that support the efforts of engineering teams.

• Maintain data integrity and security, making informed decisions based on reliable metrics and best practices in development.

• Adopt an owner mentality, proactively proposing continuous enhancements, swiftly adjusting to changes in scope, and providing genuine value to our users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Python: Significant experience in backend development with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent.

• Frontend proficiency with React: Background in developing contemporary interfaces using JavaScript and React.

• System Architecture knowledge: Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API creation/consumption (REST/GraphQL).

• Data proficiency: Skilled in SQL with experience in architecting load solutions for Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.

• Cloud Computing experience: Familiarity with cloud services, ideally GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and Big Data principles.

• Orchestration skills: Experience with Airflow (Composer) or similar tools.

• Agile mindset: Capability to work independently in fast-paced settings, emphasizing innovation and flexibility.
