Fullstack Developer, Node.js, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and upkeep of RESTful APIs utilizing Node.js and TypeScript;

• Create and enhance frontend applications with React.js and TypeScript;

• Architect microservices and serverless solutions using AWS Lambda;

• Handle asynchronous communication employing SNS and SQS;

• Coordinate events and workflows through AWS EventBridge;

• Engage in discussions and propose architectural solutions leveraging design patterns;

• Act as a technical resource providing support to the Tech Lead and the team;

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices;

• Break down requirements and epics into well-defined technical tasks;

• Model and optimize databases using DynamoDB and PostgreSQL;

• Establish and maintain comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end);

• Create reusable components and scalable user interfaces;

• Contribute to the definition of frontend architecture;

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins;

• Oversee application monitoring using tools like Datadog;

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript within production settings.

• Extensive experience with React.js and TypeScript.

• Proficient knowledge of testing frameworks, particularly Jest.

• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB).

• Experience with the relational database PostgreSQL.

• Background in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

• Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog or equivalent).

• Capability to define architecture and evaluate technical trade-offs.
