Fullstack Developer, Java, React, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Creating and implementing production-quality features from start to finish across a Java (Spring Boot) backend and a React frontend.

• Leading full-stack architectural decisions on a new codebase, including data models, API contracts, service boundaries, and frontend state architecture.

• Utilizing AI agents and LLM-based tools on a daily basis for technical research, assessing libraries and design trade-offs, generating and refactoring code, debugging, and writing tests.

• Recognizing repetitive aspects of the development lifecycle (preparing for code reviews, documentation, ticket grooming, test scaffolding, and release notes) and developing AI-driven automations for these tasks.

• Employing LLMs and agentic workflows to quickly assimilate technical documentation, RFCs, and vendor specifications, transforming hours of reading into actionable insights for architecture.

• Collaborating directly with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical scopes, providing constructive feedback when necessary, and co-developing the roadmap.

• Functioning within a Scrum framework, demonstrating the maturity to keep ceremonies effective and streamlined, avoiding bureaucratic processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a senior level in software development.

• Proficient experience with Java (Spring Boot) and React (TypeScript).

• Practical hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS).

• Proven experience in building and maintaining production systems (REST APIs, relational databases, CI/CD, containers).

• Strong grasp of architecture, design patterns, and trade-offs.

• Real-world experience utilizing AI tools (LLMs, coding assistants) in daily tasks.

• A mindset of ownership and robust problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

• Familiarity with AI tooling and augmented engineering practices.
