Fullstack Developer – Distributed Systems, Typescript, Node.js, Vue.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance Node.js and TypeScript microservices along with background workers.

• Create queue-based integrations and event-driven workflows utilizing GCP Pub/Sub.

• Construct and refine both administrative and user-facing applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js.

• Establish robust error handling mechanisms and enhance monitoring and alerting across services.

• Maintain and optimize ETL processes and data integrations.

• Engage in technical planning, estimation, and delivery of intricate features.

• Collaborate with DevOps to enhance CI/CD practices and improve the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Work alongside the Integrations team to ensure seamless interoperability among company products.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold high standards of code quality.

• Share expertise and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the team’s engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing or working with distributed systems.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, along with experience in typed programming languages.

• Comprehensive understanding of microservices, background workers, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes, and IAM.

• Solid grasp of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Experience with MongoDB, data integrations, and ETL processes.

• Capability to utilize AI coding tools, such as Cursor or Claude Code, while applying sound technical judgment to review, refine, and validate AI-generated code.

• Strong dedication to code quality, maintainability, observability, and system reliability.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, BigQuery, or user-facing applications is an advantage.
