Fullstack Architect – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create scalable and maintainable architectures for new initiatives utilizing contemporary fullstack technologies.

• Deliver precise technical estimates, recognize potential risks, and devise practical project plans aligned with business objectives.

• Build resilient, production-ready applications leveraging Next.js, React, and associated backend technologies (Node.js, TypeScript, etc.).

• Perform code reviews, define best practices, and set the technical direction along with quality standards.

• Promote the use of AI-driven development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to boost productivity and enhance code quality while adhering to best practices.

• Engage with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.

• Establish and uphold quality benchmarks including unit testing, integration testing, code coverage, and security best practices. Deploy monitoring and observability solutions.

• Join client meetings, engage in technical discussions, and respond to RFPs. Grasp client needs, propose solutions, and establish credibility as a technical authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in full stack development.

• Mastery of React and Next.js, along with a profound understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.

• Prior experience as a technical lead or architect in client-facing positions.

• Practical experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or similar), databases (SQL & NoSQL), and REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Documented experience in presales activities: showcasing solutions to clients, drafting technical proposals, and converting business needs into technical specifications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to accurately estimate projects and deliver results on time.

• Strong understanding of software quality practices: unit testing, integration testing, code review processes, and continuous integration/deployment.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
