Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Define and clarify ambiguous customer requests, rapidly prototype solutions, and evolve them into stable deployments utilizing Tailor’s platform.

• Collaborate with customers alongside our Forward Deployed Product Manager to comprehend their needs and refine solutions into stable deployments using Tailor’s platform.

• Develop productized, repeatable solutions that transform custom implementations into scalable modules applicable to accounting, e-commerce, logistics, and other workflows.

• Create and deliver production-grade features throughout our technology stack — from front-end user interfaces to backend APIs, integrations, and data models.

• Partner with the founding team to establish engineering standards, enhance developer experience, and refine platform architecture as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and launching full-stack web applications within production environments.

• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React is advantageous.

• A solid grounding in data modeling, API design, and ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability within production systems.

• Proficient in integrating with third-party APIs and external platforms in accounting, commerce, or logistics sectors.

• A pragmatic engineer who prioritizes outcomes — you emphasize delivering solutions that address real challenges over achieving perfect engineering.

• Comfortable handling ambiguity — adept at breaking down unclear requests, prioritizing tasks independently, and delivering without exhaustive specifications.

• Enjoy engaging with customers and translating complex operational challenges into intelligent, maintainable software solutions.
