Full Stack Software Developer – Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and launch comprehensive full stack applications utilizing contemporary JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js).

• Construct and sustain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Design responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces that are integrated with system APIs.

• Ensure that code follows industry best practices, coding standards, and is thoroughly documented.

• Write and uphold automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Playwright, etc.).

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and DevOps.

• Architect and deploy secure, high-performance systems utilizing modern DevSecOps methodologies.

• Refactor and update legacy systems while ensuring business operations continue smoothly.

• Keep abreast of advancements in web technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and industry trends.

• Engage in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives as a member of an Agile team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience with Node.js and React in developing production-ready applications.

• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, with experience in CSS preprocessors such as SCSS/LESS.

• Experience in creating and utilizing RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a bonus.

• Understanding of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices, cloud-native development, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with data layers (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Solid grasp of software architecture, SOLID principles, and best practices for security.

• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus) and logging frameworks.

• Experience incorporating or using AI/ML tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI API) is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a capacity to take charge of features from design through to deployment.
