Full Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold contemporary web applications encompassing UI, API, and data layers.

• Create new product functionalities and enhance existing applications.

• Integrate external services and third-party APIs.

• Develop internal tools and automation to streamline business processes.

• Convert business requirements into dependable, maintainable software solutions.

• Diagnose issues and enhance application performance and dependability.

• Engage in code reviews and elevate engineering practices.

• Collaborate with AWS infrastructure in both production and non-production settings.

• Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Refine workflows related to environments, releases, and troubleshooting.

• Assist in monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, dashboards, and actionable alerts.

• Examine production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.

• Employ security protocols such as least-privilege IAM, network security, encryption, secrets management, and secure configurations.

• Monitor AWS expenditures through right-sizing, autoscaling, and decommissioning unused resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in building and deploying production web applications from start to finish.

• Strong programming fundamentals in a modern typed or backend programming language.

• Capability to quickly become proficient in a new programming language.

• Proficient frontend skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with a modern component framework such as React or its equivalent.

• Practical experience operating applications on AWS or a similar cloud platform.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code.

• Comfort in troubleshooting production issues, analyzing logs and metrics, and enhancing reliability.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience in integrating REST APIs and third-party services.

• Familiarity with Git and collaboration through pull requests.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be available to work during US time zones, with a minimum of EST.
