Full Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement features and enhancements across the front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (Python/FastAPI) layers.

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, ensuring proper validation, error handling, versioning, and OpenAPI documentation.

• Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces with ReactJS, complying with Section 508 accessibility standards.

• Implement and oversee data models, queries, migrations, and stored procedures within PostgreSQL.

• Work within a trunk-based development workflow; frequently commit small incremental changes and utilize short-lived feature branches and feature flags.

• Package applications with Docker and assist in deploying containerized workloads to AWS environments.

• Write and uphold automated unit, integration, and regression tests utilizing pytest, Jest, and React Testing Library.

• Maintain technical documentation, which includes API documentation, data model diagrams, architecture decision records, and developer guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.

• Adequate familiarity with AWS cloud services for deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud-hosted applications.

• Minimum of 3 years of full-stack software development experience in a collaborative, team-oriented engineering environment.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.

• Experience in developing applications within a federal or regulated environment.

• Familiarity with Section 508 web accessibility standards.

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain and complete a government security screening and/or a Secret security clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
