Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and implement scalable software applications utilizing contemporary engineering methodologies.

• Develop and uphold thorough automated tests, employing strategies such as TDD/BDD and early quality assurance.

• Incorporate automated testing, security scanning, dependency evaluations, and quality thresholds into CI/CD pipelines to identify defects and vulnerabilities at early stages.

• Engage in and lead code reviews, providing constructive insights on code quality, security measures, testability, and maintainability.

• Leverage cloud platforms and DevOps tools to automate infrastructure and facilitate reliable, efficient delivery workflows.

• Work in close collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to convert business requirements into well-crafted technical solutions.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability within distributed and microservices-based systems.

• Guide junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices, sharing insights with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and C#, with a background in building scalable web applications.

• Experience in designing and working with distributed systems and microservices architectures.

• Practical experience with AWS and/or Azure, including the deployment and management of cloud-based applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like GitHub Actions or similar.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.

• Comprehensive understanding of software quality, automated testing, and secure development methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in a remote, cross-functional setting.
